About us

This project aims to develop a system that provides an efficient and effective platform to support the proper distribution of relief and/or resources among Sri Lankan community in need during a crisis, not only in the global pandemic COVID-19 but also in any future crisis situations, with the help of the island-wide spread of university undergraduates. We, Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, believe that our undergraduates are a reliable and helpful human resource that can become very useful as a task force in the country, especially in the wake of disasters or unprecedented situations in the country. We intend to implement this platform mainly in two forms.

1. A resource management web portal that facilitates real time information regarding a current crisis and access, guidance and other facilities related to it.

2. A nationwide resource task force consisting of undergraduate students consists of the students of Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura that can effectively reach out to localities in need as field facilitators. These students will also act as the principle providers on information to the web portal with information verified by relevant authorized bodies like Government Agents, the Assistant Government Agents, the Grama Niladharis, etc. (Student Representatives).
